Can't wait for this fight on the Bellew v Haye undercard as I think it will be a barmstormer. What's people's thoughts?
Ryder is actually a very decent fighter when he's on it and I haven't been overly impressed with Cox at SMW. I feel like he should really be boxing at middleweight. I'd say Ryder takes it on points.
I think Ryder will win and also agree that Cox would be better at MW. I just think both fighters styles and size will gel perfectly to give us a great contest.
This will be a good fight cox will go straight at Ryder I don't see how this will not a war imo I say cox wins I think will be to busy for Ryder I will catch him and hurt him at some point and get the stoppage it's just two middles really but they are fighting at super middle
Agree it' two middleweights fighting at super middleweight. I also think it will be a war. I think Ryder wins but it depends what Ryder turns up.
Didnt much like cox just seemed like hype but 100% got to respect the way he was willing to go to war with groves and not just talk like Eubank if cox does this every fight he will get alot more fans then he currently has he might not win all his fights but could have a good career
Everyone was completely writing him off I did to but it was a real fire fight with groves imo he goes further then Eubank Well that's if like you said if his mentally strong stepping up in levels
I don’t rate Cox technically, although I admire his heart and tenacity which will make this a great fight. He enjoys a good scrap, however Ryder’s excellent on the inside so I think this fight suits Ryder down to the ground. I’m a fan of Ryder and I reckon he’ll get a stoppage win here in a barnstormer.
As others have stated, both guys should be back down at middleweight. Ryder has all the tools to take this, and on paper he is the better and more rounded fighter. I thought the same about Ryder-Blackwell though, and Cox will come to fight and will certainly make it interesting. It's as great domestic clash though, and a proper crossroads fight. Perfect matchmaking for a PPV undercard for a change.
Struggling to pick either fighter here. Both have strengths and weakness at the level they operate at...probably pick cox
