Ryder is basically the 168 version of a Derevyanchenko, always gives any elite boxer a tough time. Nonetheless, I think GGG's jab and disciplined amateur boxing experience should give him the hard fought decision (maybe late stoppage).
Golovkin never had trouble with come forward fighters looking to knock him out. They present too many opportunities to set up one or another crushing pin-point punch that knocks the fight out of them. See: Murray, Lemieux, Stevens, Macklin.
GGG murders Ryder at 160. At 168, it would be a fun affair but Golovkin would be the clear favorite. And he would probably stop Ryder late.
