    Not sure there would be much interest in Ryder-Smith in America .

    They mentioned that he’s looking like he’s going to still be on the card. My guess is they still fight for the WBA and he fights Bilal Akkawy

    Blessing in disguise. Ryder's head was coming clean off his shoulders and into the top row of the arena. Custom made for Lemeiux he was.

    So is Lemeiux actually injured or has he got a better offer?

    Think it’s a much better fight for him. Akkawy is a bit of an unknown because he’s fight people from Oceana, he can bang but that’s all we know. We’ve seen Lemieux prove he’s (not quite an elite but) a top level boxer. Much more winnable and a “version” of a world title for him too.

    this isnt a bad fight!! akkawy is a legit and heavy handed prospect form Australia!! and he holds a win over the very capable former champ Giovanni de carolis. he isnt just some guy with a fake record.
    Ryder is only a slight favorite imo.
