The fight is set for 15th April, in Yokohama Arena (17k seats), Japan. Murata's WBA (Regular) title is on the line, it will be his first defense after beating N'Dam in October last year. The winner also may be mandated to fight Golovkin/Alvarez winner (especially if Alvarez wins) in September so there is a lot on stake. Blandamura's most notable fights are stoppage loses to BJS and Soro, although he bounced back and won & defended European title (against domestic rivals). Still, I don't like his chances here. The good thing is that he is getting paid well (both guys will make career high purses).
Ahhh, really hoping for something better for Murata. Shouldn't be surprised, though. Big Murata guy, lets see what he goes on to do.
