There wasn't a lot of talk about Shane being old when he was gonna fight a 26 year old AND VERY WELL CONDITIONED ANDRE BERTO...

IN FACT, SHANE WAS FAVORED BY MOST FANS TO STOP BERTO OR TAKE A WIDE UD...

SO lemme get this right..WHEN SHANE IS FIGHTING A 26 YEAR OLD ANDRE BERTO WHO HAS EXCELLENT STAMINA AND CONDITIONING (SEEN HIS CONDITIONING PROGRAM ON YOUTUBE) HE IS NOT OLD? BUT WHEN HE IS GONNA FIGHT A 33 YEAR OLD FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR HE IS "OLD?'

U *******S NEEDA COME UP WITH A BETTER EXCUSE...CUZ THE SAME PAC FANS THAT ARE SAYING SHANE WAS OLD ON MAY 1 ARE THE SAME FANS THAT SAID SHANE WOULDA STOPPED BERTO :deal

People need to see a fighter fight to know if hes shot or not is that too hard to understand.

Moron, he wasn't shot when he fought Cotto and Margarito was he? But no, much rather than give Floyd his due credit, it's way easier to come up with excuses instead.

Shane would probably still stop Berto.....Berto isn't on Floyd's level or Shane's for that matter...No matter if Shane is 38 or 40. Berto just isn't a great as Shane or Floyd. Floyd is just better than Shane...he was faster, younger and stronger it seemed. So Floyd won in dominating fashion and was a GREAT win.

Moron?you're confusing me with your father.

He didnt looked shot against those guys,he wasnt tired at the end of the second round against those guys,he could still pull the trigger against those guys,he didnt look like a man with parkinson against those guys.

this is not excuses this is reality.

Yeah I agree, Mayweather is the one who made Shane look bad, he would definately not have looked that bad against an Andre berto.

Shane still! Shane would beat Berto even after his onsided loss to Floyd. You could tell that Shane was un-rattled by the speed and style Floyd had last Saturday. Shane couldn't get into any rythm b/c Floyd FOUGHT SHANE! He didn't run or pot shot...he staying in the pocket and went toe to toe where SHANE was SUPPOSE to win his moments....that didn't happen of course. Floyd beat shane fighting his fight and more importantly fighting SHANE'S FIGHT. Credit to Floyd!

What the **** are you talking about? Mosley looked tired as hell against Cotto. Shane Mosley is mentally weak when things don't work for him. Once your mind knows you're beat, your body responds just like it. Then again, sure, Mosley aged overnight...Went to sleep, woke up on fight night and was instantly shot. :tired

    1. Berto isn't nearly as good as Floyd and has been shown to have many flaws, which outweighed most talk of age.

    2. For myself, I always said that Mosley would beat Berto if it was the same Mosley who fought Margarito that came into the ring. Considering Shane's whole career has a tendency to go up and down and that he's 38, that's rather a large addendum.
