Unless a rematch is needed or some sort of mandatory gets in the way than the Super 6 winner needs to face Bute next. After Kessler beats Stieglitz than he can look to face the loser of tomorrow's match up but Ward/Froch vs Bute is the 168 pound equivalent of Mayweather-Pacquaio in that its the one fight that should be next and everything else can wait.

Who ever wins they should fight Bute and then start to build on their

brand and legacy by trying to get the biggest fights they can

Anthony is getting the fight. If Froch wins tomorrow, Froch fans will say he deserves a homecoming fight. If Ward wins, the same people will ridicule the Son of God.

Why would Ward want to fight Kessler again? He whooped his ass.

I'd like to think we might see a rematch if the fight is a good one.

    Here's hoping we do.......

    Spring 2012
    1)rematch of S6 final
    2)Bute vs Dirrell
    3)Kessler vs Stieglitz

    Summer 2012
    4) Winner of #1 vs Mr. Mandatory
    5) Winner of #2 vs Winner of #3
    6) Loser of #1 vs Loser of #2.....(sets up a any combo of Ward/Froch vs Bute/Dirrell, not a bad consolation fight)

    Winter 2012
    7) S6 Winner vs Winner of #5(Bute/Kessler/Dirrell or ......er....Stieglitz)

I could live with this agenda, but don't want anyone else in the mix, fights have to be within those guys. A real Super 5...

All I saw was Dirrell and assumed it was Andre. My pick actually goes to Bute-Kessler-Dirrell now.

Bute vs Ward. I have been waiting to see Lucian beat him for over a year. Froch does not stand much of a chance against either.

Don't see why Dirrell is even of part of anything at all. He has done nothing.

Good stuff, I'd buy that. Is Kessler-Stieglitz official, in that we have a firm, new date now?

Sometime in April? After Stieglitz fights in January?

    :D

Provided Ward wins tonight, Ward vs Ant. Dirrell in Oakland as a homecoming fight is very plausible.

Takes care of a mandatory while Bute fights Froch in NYC. :bbb

don't see why Dirrell's name is in the mix.

Ideally Bute & Kessler would fight to face the winner but I would like to see the Super 6 winner fight one of them. Bute first choice.

edit - sorry it is anthony - well unification trumps mandos so still Bute or Kessler (if he wins his next fight against Stieglitz)

You don't think Ward defending vs his mandatory would allow him to safely go after the two remaining belts afterwards without getting stripped?

    I do. :D
