    What I like about this fight is Kirkland won't leave it on the judges hands he knows what he needs to do to win. And once Mandingo gets in his groove and you can't hurt him, he's going to be punching non-stop. People forget Kirkland did improve since his return. Not sure if inactivity will really hurt him, especially the way Warrior Queen Anne whips him into shape!

    Mayorga is a bigger name than Kirkland and he got paid 50K against Cotto who got 1 million.

    Angulo a guy less popular than Kirkland got 750,000 against Camelot who got 1.25 million
    I am pretty sure he will be getting at least 300 K, is that pennies?


    You have Floyd who gets paid 30 million plus but only pays his opponents 2 or 3 million. But oh no Camelo is so evil because his opponents get 3/4 of what he gets....get out of here

    Yeah, if he can replicate his Tapia form and not come in deluding himself that he can win a decision, he might just be in with a real chance. (but will have to put on the fight of his life and hope Canelo makes a mistake or two)

    Question.. Why was Showtime so sensitive to Kell calling himself Special K(drug related I guess) yet HBO and FS1 seem to have no problem with Kirkland calling himself Mandingo or Ortiz calling himself King Kong.:think
