    It's official fellas!! Canelo vs Kirkland will collide in the spring sometime, date is not yet determined.

    Kirkland is coming off of a 2 year layoff and i doubt that he sees 12 rounds in this one, the inactivity will be to much to overcome against a sharpshooter like Canelo Alvarez. Canelo in 7-8 possibly with Canelo getting knocked down in the process.

    It's quite possible that Kirkland will try to start fast in this fight, and i feel the first 6 rnds are his best chance to pull off the upset. If not he gasses and Canelo gets him out of there in 7-8 rounds. If Anne Wolfe is training him for this fight, his chances go up imo.:good

    Kirkland is gonna get sparked out cold if he fights Canelo. Really a bad matchup for him.

    Canelo has problems with skilled boxers who don't stand right in front of him (his loss to Lara for example)

    I think Kirkland is a live dog in this fight. The guy is an animal, its actually pretty hard to control a guy like this with your technical skill-set, because you have to match his aggression and that means you're fighting like an idiot at times. How good is Canelo at fighting like a wild idiot?

    I wouldn't put my darling fighter into this pit, unless the fans were frothing at the mouth for it.
