    Yeah he would. It would be, by far, the best opponent he'd ever beaten, someone who's ranked top3 p4p and someone who's 1 division south. Kinda like how Bivol got credit for beating Canelo, but Spence got not credit for beating Mikey Garcia.

    Garcia/Charlo is a horrible analogy.

    Mikey never belonged above 135 whereas Charlo is a huge 154lbr and has claimed he could easily fight at 160 but for his brother already being there.

    Charlo is naturally bigger than Canelo and that will be clearly visible at fight night. The 2 div. difference between Garcia/Spence was painfully obvious in the ring.

    Either way Canelo gets no credit when he beats Charlo.

    You'll struggle to find many SMW champions who receive credit for beating a LMW champion tbh.

    Remember how they tried to lock Serge in the insane asylum (for the billionth time) when he told you all that Jermello is just as big as Clenelo and that this isn't really a match up between a 154 and 168 pounder? Well, look who was proven right yet again.

    Jermello is not only taller than Clenelo with a longer reach (we already knew that) but he weighs at least the same as him and I mean a still lean and in very good shape Jermello.

    People were acting shocked by his size at the face to face today and were even saying he looked bigger than Clenelo. Meanwhile Serge was like I already told you guys this :facepalm:

    Canelo no. Charlo will get a ****tonne of credit if he somehow wins.

    Canelo gets credit for beating Benavidez, Bivol or Beterbiev. I can't think of any other fight that improves his resume. He's beaten the best MW and everyone else at SMW.

    It's irrelevant to what we're discussing, and I think I've made it very clear that I'm not convinced the earth is flat but I am interested in the discussion of what the earth is.
