Just dawned on me that Zurdo would be WBO mando (per WBO rules about fighters moving up in weight gets mando status (i.e Usyk) (Zurdo is also ranked #1 for WBC but the Bobfather knows better then to let his boy get mangled by Beterbiev). Zurdo has the same physical advantages that Kova had, with height, reach, length advantages, but he doesn't have the power that Kovalev had and he is more timid then the other light heavies. Also (not related with this thread), but I believe ESPN now longer has any obligations to Kovalev, if I recall correctly there was a article (at the scene) where if Kova won he comes back, but if he loses DAZN deals with his next 2 fights (which I think Dazn can use to prop up Bivol and Callum (if Callum moves up) (best thing would be for Kova to retire now).
Canelo just destroyed Zurdo's career with beating Krusher. If they ever fought I'd imagine a draw on Cinco de Mayo
