Round 1

Juárez is jogging in and out and flipping a single or double jab off his thigh at Novoa. Heavy overhand rights by Novoa, bowling in a few underhanded on the body as well. Novoa taking wild swings with the left hook as he chases after Juárez. Counter left hook by Juárez as Novoa comes bashing in with an overhand right. Juárez is playing matador and rolling out the jab, bouncing around the ring. Novoa just keeps marching him down, pouring on the body shots.

Round 2

Juárez is dancing around the ring and winging left hooks casually at the head of Novoa, but not really committing. Light jabs by Juárez darting in, using the ricochet off Novoa's gloves or shoulders to propel himself backward and continue hopping. Novoa is landing body shots when in range and otherwise crabbing his way in on Juárez, looking to line up a big axing right. Novoa shrugs at Juárez, imploring him to stand his ground and fight. Juárez doesn't feel like it and politely declines the offer.

Round 3

Juárez is easing up on the unnecessarily wasteful and jittery motions, and is settling down in front of Novoa but still keeping a respectful detachment. Juárez sticks a few clean jabs or individual lead rights darting in and out, but Novoa is hammering down with both fists and deterring him effectively. Novoa starts to come forward and really crack Juárez on the face with left hooks after tossing a wide brush-clearing looping right on the way in.

Juárez is leaping at Novoa and floating a high jab, then double-hooking off it as his feet touch down. Novoa is marching in with throwaway jabs and then oil-checking with a straight right that brushes the cheek of Juárez. Novoa is backing Juárez up with powerful combos on the front-foot, missing a lot but exerting his will via raw strength.

Huh. They just announced WBC open scoring, and it sounded like they had Juárez up. The commentators sound incredulous about that.
