    Yes, referees have a tough job, and I think the likes of Steve Smoger are way too overrated for letting fights go on, but for gods sake, let them ****ing fight

    was Monroe in any danger of getting injured?

    One or two early stoppages is one thing, but the guy is just a walking panic button and he can't judge a fighters wellbeing worth ****

    Crap stoppage again, about 3 shots landed out of 20 from selby, munroe was blocking and firing back.

    This was a B.S stoppage. I mean Lee Selby did a Chris Eubank and told the ref to stop the fight and that shitebag John Lewis did it :lol:

    Never mind sack him Ian John Lewis along with Terry O'Connor and Howard Foster should be f*cking shot.

    Ironically when he was a fighter he was also a victim of a terrible British stoppage vs Daren Dyer.

    IJL has always been a **** referee and the quicker he retires the better.

    Won't stop until the British boxing media highlight the issue to a greater extent. The refs are being allowed to get away with this **** too easily as is. You know the HBO/Showtime guys wouldn't stand for it. Few countries would I expect.

    It's the worst thing about British boxing these days
