Maskaev vs Peter I was hoping for the upset and got disappointed and it was the first day of my vacations Marquez vs Pacquiao 3 (robbed again) Michalczewski vs Gonzalez (the Tiger lost his spirit that night) Hopkins vs Smith Jr
Marquez-Pacquiao 4. In fact not really sad, more like 'FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE BE ALIVE!!!'. There were seriously about 30 seconds there were I really thought Pac was dead.
Funny seeing Hamad/Barrera as a crying fit for some guys. It was one of the most enjoyable beat downs I ever saw. I had tears in my eyes, but they were tears of joy.
I was so happy haha but it did feel wrong. It seems after Gonzalez's trainer passed he hasn't been the same. I know the increase in weight too but still
When Ricky Hatton lost to Floyd, never expected him to win but it was a wonderful bubble to be in while it lasted but I wanted him to see it through to the cards.
Hatton - Mayweather. After two rounds I was sure he could do it, so to see him lose as he did was painful. The faceplant into the corner still makes my heart hurt whenever I see it. At least he had a quick, clean death against Pacquiao. I was a kid when I watched Lewis - Rahman on a crappy black and white portable TV in my bedroom. I remember it being about 5am. I was shocked and saddened then. Weird to think it was on terrestrial TV though. The demise of free-to-air boxing (Friday nights on ITV, anyone?) makes me sad too.
Still should never have happened you could see he was already showing early signs of Parkinson's....the saddest thing I have ever seen in Boxing...
