Just to let the Forum know that Harry Carpenter ,boxing commentator has died ,Harry was a long time commentator on BBC.He was 84 years old. That 's him and Reg both gone now, sad.
Liked his commentating, better than those HBO muppets, the man got a good innings though so not too sad
Thanks for the info McVey. It is sad. Harry Carpenter and Reg Gutteridge were part of our youth. Harry on the BBC and Reg on ITV. I had heard that Harry had n't been too well lately.
