I ahd the pleasure of meeting Angelo 2 yrs ago at Foxwoods. Goody and I trained me son Manny, who had just fought that night. angelo, upon seeing Goody work the corner, made his way down to the dressing room. He told someone he wanted to see Goody. They shook hands, gave each other the business a bit,and Angelo took time to tell my son Manny` keep your hands up kid`. Great guy sharp as a tack and what a thrill to meet him. RIP ...

Have a safe trip Ange.Since the Peterson victory,I've been thinking a lot about my all-time favourite "corner" moment.
God bless and thanks for the memories.
I know Ange and Goody were no spring chickens, but I hope this isn't going to be another one of those horribly sad year for losing boxing legends.

    Great post, my friend.

Best corner moments for me (no disrespect for Mr Dundee) was Goosen in Corrales' corner in the Castillo fight. Great stuff, calmed him down each round (which Showtime showed, but not all between-each-round-moments), and the classic line when Corrales went down to second time 'You gotta ****ing get inside on him now'.
