Pinoys wanted Soto to win tonight badly......but it didn't happen. Maybe for the very first time pinoys wanted to see a Mexican winning....but did not happen. Pinoys, who do you want Pac to fight next?

They wanted Soto to win because he's an easier fight for Pac, this was all subconcious also, because they know that Guzman likely wins. They'd rather him fight people that he can definitely beat than fight the absolute best at their best and then parade around in a sham like fashion that Pac is the greatest.

Soto would have been tailor made for Pac. Guzman however has Pac tailor made for him, I hope it happens, Guzman deserves somewhat of a legacy after all of this avoiding that he's suffered.

i root for mexicans most of the time (if not fighting a pinoy boxer :D ).
mexicans and pinoys have almost same style. they do not back down and both have huge hearts. too much machismo. sometimes these are their downfall.

a lose-lose option for pacquiao. if he beats guzman, it will be another old, shot and washed-up fighter. and plus this is not a pretty victory if pacquiao pulls this one.

One of boxing's few supernaturals. Soto being heralded for his accuracy and only landing at 22% is quite impressive in Guzman's favour, not to mention landing at 45% himself.

i've heard it numerous times before. sasakul, barrera, morales and mostly i agree with the experts. most of the time pacquiao proved me wrong. let's see if it happens. :good

I wasn't rooting for anybody i was just hoping for a great fight... Although i picked Soto to win the fight on the polls because i thought that he has the size and power to counter guzman's slickster style. Guess what? i was wrong from the get go when Joan entered the ring at 148. :-(

Anybody who can throw a punch would have no trouble landing 45% on Soto. He is a big and very stationary target.
