Very disciplined, I'd buy a nice house on the beach, a decent car and a modest boat, put the rest in the bank. I'd have probably done the same thing if I had that kind of money in high school. Not all 22 year olds are blithering morons.

I didn't say all 22 year olds are idiots, but many would do stupid things, including jeopardizing the very thing that got them all that money and success in the first place. You know I'm right on this matter!

Stfu i grew up like he did and it's hard to make it out so many people doing illegal **** to get paid snakes all around you, the schools suck few legit role models. The allure to go the wrong way is real and strong and people get caught up in it and end up dead or in jail and lord knows ive lost so many. I was lucky most arent so fortunate. That **** is real so don't spesk on something you hsve no experience with.

So, you're making an excuse saying Tank is an idiot. And that's why he underperforms when he fights old shot glass jawed old hobbled one legged gimps. Odd, since we can assume he's always been an idiot, even when he gets most of the guys out of there in impressive fashion. You can't just pick and choose when you can conveniently use that excuse. He usually looks like a million bucks when he's an idiot, yet last night, while still being an idiot, he looked poor. Something's not computing here.

I don't want to flog the kid too much for his first fight at lightweight. That said--and I had mentioned this prior to his move up in weight--Tank's punching power at 135lbs may not be as destructive as it was at 130lbs. Last night's performance against a faded and notoriously chinny veteran did little to resolve those concerns.

Nevertheless, let's see where Tank goes from here. Presently he's likely no worse than the fourth best lightweight (behind Loma, Lopez, and Haney) out there. I would strongly encourage Tank to forget his short-lived remarks about jumping up to 140lbs to fight Taylor, however. He would be slapped around for twelve rounds and wound wind up very much on the wrong side of a lopsided decision.

Tank delivered knockout shots throughout the fight. Gamboa just didn't fall and you can't blame Tank for that. Instead Gamboa should get props for having a great chin. The issue I saw with Tank is that he didn't pace himself and allowed Gamboa to engage him into wrestling, which sapped a lot of his energy. Young fighters mistakes but I am sure those issues will be addressed. Unlike Broner, people actually like Tank in more than one state and it's incumbent on him to justify that like and respect by not following in the same path as Broner.

when I was 22 years old I didn't give a flying screw for money. despised it actually. was dedicated to something and pursued it regardless of economic concerns. looking back now I would change that. so ...in answer to your questions...and it is a relevant one....if millions plopped into my lap I would have given most of it away. Even now....those I have known with millions....the truth is it has not been a good thing for them. money is a tool.....few can conquor it's influence. so....the millions cause him to be undisciplined. ok. however, the end product of that undiscipline is a poor product. ok...maybe he has a high potential. let him prove it....then i will be in line praising him. as it is....his level is that of a bum. he needs to wake up if he has this greatness and not waste it because of money.

Apologist/Excuse Maker for who? What’s being “forgiven”, he wasn’t great last night, It happens with young fighters. I’m not going to fight with you about it, time will tell...we’ll see how everything plays out.

Loma will humiliate him. Loma will become so bored during the fight he will probably ask the referee to call the fight a no contest so he can go do something else that is interesting....like watch tv or something.

Tank said there is no safety on the GLOCK. Anyone can get it. That tough hood talk. Let's see if he can take out Lomachenko with his fist. AIn't gonna be no fire arms in the ring. Loma got something for him....
