Sad to say but the fight most likely BOMBED on PPV (Under 100K buys)

It was "terrible" because Crawford is that much better than Postol...and no one really knows either guy. But, if they are serious about trying to build up Crawford (I don't think they have been), you make his most significant challenge to date accessible to more viewers, on regular HBO. That's a ton of built in promotion right there. Then when a bona-fide PPV attraction like Pac wants to share the ring with Crawford, it's time to put the kid on PPV. If he wins, then he can carry a PPV.

I can tell you that I don't like to see anyone get hurt, but I also wouldn't watch two people afraid to engage. Even one person afraid to engage makes for a terrible fight.

I think most people have my same mentality. If not, other sports wouldn't continuously think of ways to make their sport more exciting.

In fact, I'm glad this fight took place because it gives me an idea of how Crawford will approach Pac, which likely means he will run.

I like Pac, but I won't be paying for that fight.

I didn't see the fight. But, there were two KDs I heard. How does that happen when fighters don't engage?

I would pay for Pac vs Crawford. Because, it would be a very good, intriguing match up and just about worthy of PPV status...unlike Crawford vs Postol. If people paid for Pac vs Bradley 3x, I couldn't see why they wouldn't pay for Pac vs Crawford.

And that doesn't guarantee star-dom either. Look at Hopkins, he beat Tito and ODLH and never became a PPV star.

A knee touch and a glove touch. Neither time was postol in real trouble.

Again...did he do that on his own? Or was there "engagement" involved. And has that ever happened to him before 2x in a fight? Was Mattyse able to do it..who's considered a big puncher at 140?

I'm surprised uncle Bob went ahead with the PPV he has been down grading the PPV business for long time. Looks like HBO and SHO are not buying anymore.

Hmmm, changed your tune there eh? I remember you blasting GGG for poor PPV numbers.

For what it's worth I think PPV numbers are not the way to judge a boxer - I don't think it's fair to criticize either Crawford or GGG on their PPV flops.
