2 relatively young, aggressive boxers. Ali has a very good reach(73'') for a ww, and Rios likes to get close. This would be a very good, probably 4-5 star rated fight. How would you rate this bout and predict the outcome?

Ali is glass jawed and will be exposed by a fighter who isn't coming off a 7month layoff after being dropped fairly hard in his last match like Abregu. Brandon would destroy his body and brutally KO him.

This is a good fight. Ali could outbox him, but it depends if Rios comes out aggressive early. Has a bad habit of just walking fighters down like Margarito did, but needs to cut the ring off more like Maidana does. Nobody is going to go toe to toe, you have to make them.

Awful stylistic match-up for Rios. I'd rather see Rios/Guerrero, honestly.

You said Abregu would brutally KO him too.

Yeah well I didn't realize how shot to **** Abregu would be. For the record almost everybody else did too.

Dont think he was shot, Ali was simply better than you thought he was.

If I remember the betting line, Ali was slight favorite.

No I've seen many of his fights and the one he'd had just before Abregu against Jeremy Bryan he got hurt a few times and looked really bad in and even though dropped Bryan I believe if I remember correctly was still only a SD win for him.

Right now it's 6 for Ali and 2 for Rios. Apparently people favour Ali over Rios which is surprising as Rios is a more established boxer and would come to this fight as the favourite. In any case I believe this would be a great fight that would open doors wide for the winner en route to a major belt fight (i.e. vs Thurman or Brook)
