Inconclusive is the most I know. Gattis people and the Canadian authorities tried to achieve justice with a very deep study into the event. The loved ones remain unhappy with the verdict. And the ex wife is ex communicated from Pat lynch and Gatti family. I believe she got the money, and the custody of Gattis son. She remains firm that she didn't do it and also loves him. The Canadian government tried their best, but unfortunately their best wasn't good enough.

Arguello's death was upsetting to hear. If what I read was true, I don't see how anyone could buy the idea that he offed himself. Even so, to know that he battled so many demons when he exuded such kindness and grace throughout his career seems patently unfair.

Was very sad to hear about Hagler. I have to write a letter to Foreman, because I just know his death is going to gut me.

Joe Louis, Ali, Ray Robinson. All were expected but it was still painful.
Arguello , Pryor ,Corrales, and Hagler were shocking because they seemed
to have some quality years left to life, and seemed to be in great health.
    Totally unexpected.
Johnny Owens and Kim Duk Koo was actually the 1st and 2nd death I saw live from boxing and both were shocking.
But the most shocking death I've experienced from anyone not
related or a friend and one that stills shocks to this day
was the death of Lee Jun Fan . About two weeks after
Enter The Dragon was released in my local area. A movie
and person that literally changed my life.
Bruce Lee showed me what can be done with discipline
and dedication. He was the biggest influence in my life
coming from a broken home, and the ravages of a
    drug/alcohol / and violent community.

Alexis Arguello's passing really got to me at the time. Great fighter and great person. Still think the cause of his death was foul play and not suicide.

Frazier's death stung pretty badly--but Ali's was even more devastating! And I suppose it's because growing up in the 70's Ali was the most recognized athlete in the world. I don't think to this day anyone has equaled him in charisma and the audience he commanded virtually everywhere on the globe!! His presence was a part of ANYONE'S life who followed sports during that time!!

Salvador Sanchez was, believe it or not, beloved in Puerto Rico by those who saw more than just the guy who beat Wilfredo Gomez. There was a tribute to him on TV a few days after he died, where they played a song named "Cuando un amigo se va!"b ("When a friend Leaves")

I still feel sad about that.

The matchstick man Johnny Owen after his fight with Lupe Pintor, when they carried him from the ring Pintor's fans threw cups of urine over him, disgraceful behaviour, Owen died a couple of months after the fight tragically.

I've seen him post pictures of himself on Instagram here and there, he definitely looks much smaller, but I'd figure that it's just a matter of him getting old. He always looked insanely muscular in the ring and was a pretty big guy, so I think that his metabolism just caught up to him now that he's getting up there in years and isn't training like he used to.
