    Ali’s passing.
He was my hero from being a kid I just loved the man even though I acknowledged his faults.
He’s the only person family member apart I’ve shed a tear for on their passing.

The guy I’ll always have tribute to on my profile. Darren Sutherland, Irish Olympic bronze medalist and a pro who could have been one of Ireland’s greatest lost to suicide while living away from his family and struggling alone in the spotlight.

I watched all his few pro fights with my grandfather who had seen Louis and Robinson in their primes and he was amazed by Darren’s talents.

The Johnny Owens death was stunning, you could feel something horrible had happened with that last knockdown, like he'd been turned off with a switch.
