Boxing is one of the most brutal combat sports and safety of boxers should be of utmost importance. Yet, there are fights where excessive violence, dirty tactics and blood have made them very memorable. Perhaps, TKO6 comes to mind.

But has there ever been a fight where you enjoyed (sadistically) a boxer going down in pain?

I confess, I did. It was the second fight between Riddick Bowe and Andrej Golota. That one ended in a Testicle Knock Out (TKO).

I enjoyed Lennox Lewis showing Golota what's up after his two dirty shitshows against Bowe. I know that it wasn't in revenge for Bowe, but it sure could have served as it.

Only fight of Canelos I care to rewatch is the one with Khan having his soul eaten.

Y'know, I don't think I've ever derived pleasure from seeing anyone writhing in pain. I mean, we've all leapt out of the chair when our favored boxer scored a knockdown or KO, but I never had that 'I hope you're in pain!' kind of moment. Having said that, I will admit to feeling a wave of satisfaction over the thumping Marcos Maidana gave Adrien Broner.

No. Absolutely not. I boxed as an amateur and take no pleasure in another man's suffering. Weird post.
