Yes, Pep was and the vast majority agreed. Saddlers record around the Pep wins is far spottier than Pep's. I've barely ever seen a respected historians list with Saddler above Pep. Sandy winning overall vs Pep doesn't neccessarily mean he's got the greater record, nor that he beat more people head to head. Pep had a lot more career behind him than Saddler did by the time they fronted. Nelson ko'ing Cowdell has nothing to do with the Sanchez chance vs Saddler. A no name turned the trick 3 fights later. Admittedly tho this loss was way out of character for Pat. Nelson is an awesome fighter. He'd be a great fight for Saddler.
I agree, Pep is the no 1. I also agree Nelson would be a great fight for Saddler,or any Feather, the experienced Nelson that is ,not the guy who came in at short notice ,having had just 14 fights, and went nearly 15 rds with Sanchez.
Manassa have you looked at Rosa,s record? Its really weird,he has 23 fights ,losing 19 of them and drawing 2 one of which was with Harold Dade,he wins 2 out of the 23 ,in his 24 fight he fights Saddler and wins a split decision. Then he goes on a tear and wins20 in a row, loses a dec to Dado Marino, wins his next 9,then retires.I dont know what to make of him .
I think THAT (inexperienced) Nelson would fight just fine. In fact i compare his effort to a supposedly green Witherspoon vs Holmes. Many will argue both fought the fight of their lives, Suzie certainly does. Trying to take credit from Snachez as a fighter because he struggled with Nelson doesn't quite work for me, i actually notch it up as a Sanchez credit to be honest.
Pedroza never beat anybody great and barely beat Juan Laporte, how the hell would he beat Sanchez. Your an idiot.
You havent posted any thing that has any analysis to it ,you should change your name to Kit Carson ,you cowboy!
