    Floyd = tremendous fighter.. even though his career was well managed
    Roy = see above
    pac= see above

    besides these 3... nobody else is safe

    most fighters now a days are well managed bums... atleast the top 3 are well managed talents

    So Pavlik gets full blame for a loss where he moves up 10 pounds, but no credit if Martinez moves up 6 and Kelly beats him?

    Well that makes perfect sense.

    martinez is a big 154lber. his arms were definitely bigger than pavliks during the weigh in and they looked to have about the same body frame. good fight to me.

    Don't be fooled by that.

    Pavlik will go up another 10lbs by fight time and fill out in the process.

    I have no doubts he will look the bigger man tonight.

    As to the ****** that said any slick counter puncher will beat him you are the fool. Hopkins used his superior strength and tactics to mentally break Pavlik down. What Lowe and Pavlik didn't count on was Hopkins being so strong at 175. Hopkins also beat up Tarver who is a very strong 175lber.

    Being the first to Ko Miranda was good.

    Then being the first to beat let alone Ktfo A undefeated Taylor was, correct me if im wrong, also a pretty badass accomplishment.

    Also, was Taylor ever the same after the meeting with Pavlik? :smoke

    So you lose a fight against an ageless wonder 10 pounds above your weightclass, close to the class favoring the legend, it happens.

    Yeah honestly. And Pavlik is a ***** for fighting a smaller guy (by the way, historically it's typically OK for a champ to fight the champ from a class below) but all of a sudden Pavlik is a ***** for not going up to 168 and taking them on? Wouldn't that make anyone at SMW who is willing to fight Pav a ***** for fighting a smaller man?

    And there's something to be said for styles, because Pavlik had just crushed, and then beat in a UD, the same guy who ended the Legend's run at MW.

    look man...

    it is what it is

    floyd roy & pac are the only ones to move up successfully and thats what counts...

    pavlik is totally over rated & beat nobodies his entire career
    cotto has a lot of heart but was over rated as far as his skils go... defense was swiss cheese
    klitsko's are pretty good but they are in one of the worse divisions in boxing so its irrelevant
    margarito is a cheat
    martinez is very beatable
    paul williams has a a lot of heart but is HORRIBLY skilled
    bhop picked on smller fighters
    froch is sloppy and can't box
    dirrel is inexperienced as hell and is scared of "fighting"
    aa & kessler are over rated as we already saw

    a lot of fighters in boxing now are over rated as ****
