You can't make this claim and knock KP for losing to him. It is becoming abundantly clear that you are in fact a hater, regardless of what you say.

And it's pretty transparent what you're doing. You're discrediting this matchup before it even happens so that if KP does starch him out quickly, you can say "see I told you so!" And if Sergio wins, it doubles your case for Kelly being overrated. Just chill and enjoy the fight man, it should be a good one.

Also, who gives a **** if Martinez is a 154 fighter, he looked damn good at 160 last time out and almost beat Paul Williams, and the fighter in many people's eyes is a 50/50 fight. If Pavlik wasn't fighting Martinez then people would come out "Well, he's ducking Martinez," Then when he fights Martinez then you have a ****ing **** thread "Well, Pavlik is fighting a JMW," What a crock of ****. TS is either a hater of Pavlik, a dumb boxing fan, or just flat out stupid. Based on his posts in this thread I'm thinking a little of everything.

 

In that thread you said that at that stage in Hopkins career, he was really picking on a smaller man in fighting KP. So then, OK, I guess KP is absolved from that loss, is that what you're driving at?

 

Don't underestimate completely Miranda and Taylor. Don't forget that Taylor beat Hopkins twice . Boxing is a complex sport and one lost doesn't mean that you are a chump. I'm not Pavlik nuthugger but let the guy fight a couple of fight before trashing him

I actually just looked at his post history, and yeah, every single post he's ever had was about how one boxer or another is garbage.

 

Are you by any chance saying that his 36-1 record is INFLATED!!! That if he had fought ranked opponents and belt holders within his first 19-23 fights ala Andre Ward, Devon Alexander, Andre Berto, Andre Dirrell...That we (Boxing fans) would have never heard of Kelly Pavlik.

Why do people keep putting Ward in this? I like him, he may be a rare talent, but resume-wise? He beat a Miranda who at that point is probably past prime (and decisioned him, after AA and KP stopped him) and Kessler. That's it. Other than that, he's fought 19 people whose combined career highlights are "we lost to Andre Ward."
