Both big 140lbers, we know Khan can't hurt the Thai, but can the awkward beast swing one of his telegraphed blows onto Khans chin? Or does Khan use his massive speed advantage to take a win on the cards? Muangsurin was very strong down the stretch over 15 (see: 2nd fight with top contender Lion Furuyama) but would this attribute diminish over 12 rounds? Muangsurin let people walk onto him and throw early doors; Khans blistering hands would be all over him, and when he throws in combination, his feet get real messy. As his stamina depletes, I reckon the Thai takes his head off with a right hand. Muangsurin KO11 Khan :think
From the little I have seen of Muangsurin (only highlights) I would fancy him to KO Khan eventually too. However, I'd also be fairly confident Khan's head would stay on
Anyone else? Would anyone agree that Khan is in the same technical bracket as Fuji and Muangsurin? Sloppy mentalists?
Now we have Khan beating a decent southpaw in Zab Judah, who is much faster but less scarily tough than the Thai caveman, how do we see this fight going down? I think Khan would have a great opportunity to look really flashy against a man very slow of foot and easy to hit. Muangsurin would take all his shots and smile, and spark Amir out at some point I reckon. What says the Classic Forum? For what it's worth I reckon Muangsurin would muller Marcos Maidana in a very exciting slug fest between two awkward *******s.
