I am not writing off Salido, Lomachenko is much better boxer, faster, better defense, but in the second half of the fight, if it goes that long, that will be the danger zone for Lomachenko, Lomachenko might end the fight early, or he might end it late, but it is still a very dangerous fight for him. I will watch this fight because I don't know for certain who will win...............
If Loma losses or even struggles with Salido there is no hope for him. This is a test that needs to be passed with flying colours.
That's the real question in this one. How will Lomachenko react when he inevitably takes a punch , without headgear, from a legit puncher? Loma's a great athlete with amazing agility, hand speed, pop and accuracy, but he's a completely untested at the professional level and he's never been in a 12 round fight before. Salido really shouldn't be that big of a dog against anyone at 126 but this truly is a unique situation. Be careful.
Wilder would never fight someone like a Salido, only winos from the allies..........I have to admire Lomachenko's courage..................this is the fight I want to see more than the others, although, Chavez/Vera should be a war, but it appears that the judges, referee, boxing commission will be on Chavez' side once again. I read somewhere that Laurence Cole with be the referee, he is one of the worst referees living today, not to mention the judges.........
It should be intresting. I can see Salido losing like 8-0 then 9th round Boom!!! Then Lomo doesnt know what to do because hes never been 12 rounds
Salido KO 8/1 :yep Another thing to do is Salido will get dropped in this fight then the bet in play odds will be better Salido got dropped 4 times in the Garcia fight then the odds or him to win went to 66/1, Salido was fine in the later rounds and getting closer
There is a big difference between amateur and pro, no matter how many amateur fights you've had. Every outstanding amateur can't make the transition as smoothly as Rigo, especially in their 2nd pro fight. Intriguing. I'm sold, and I'll be watching. Should be an interesting fight.
I saw an article on Yahoo about Lomachenko. They did the same thing for Golovkin. I like Salido a lot. I think he's a great, tough fighter, but I think he's going to be busted up by Lomachenko.
I think it will be pretty close fight in the begining , while many people think Loma will be outboxing salido in the first half, I just don't see it. It will be salido winning dull fight ,but loma will get the win unless he gets stopped.
It's only his 2nd Pro fight. He's young and has plenty of time to learn from the experience and rebound. Even losing, there is plenty of hope for this kid.
