I only feel safe talking **** about him because he's been dead for 60 years.

So, relevant. Too bad Sharkey was 6 or 7 years retired when he was the age Tua is. Keep up the rigorous intellectual debate.

Cause he was a bare fisted fighter who took more injuries in the Jeffries fight than Tua did in his whole career...and **** Sharkey. The invincible "all he needs is love and diet and he'll beat anybody" Tua getting clobbered and knocked down by a washed up gate keeper is hilarious. Tua will never beat a top 5 fighter in any era, he will never be a belt holder, he will never be a Champion. Again, he is not an all time great contender, and he can't carry Quarry's jock strap.

Why so butt-hurt over Tua? Did he lose you some cash somewhere along the line?

I would be butt-hurt if Tua won the undisputed Championship. Right now I'm laughing my butt off. All over this board, Tua fans **** on all time greats and hurl arrogant insults....now eating ****ing crow like the rest.

Take 'em both as they are and at thier best and it's Tua in 2 or 3. Sharkey was tough and could take it but Tua would be hitting him faster and with more 2 and 3 punch combinations than Jeffries did. Jeffries would wear you out over time whereas Tua would look to take you out quick if he could. Against a 180lb Sharkey,Tua would.

Is it agreed by everyone that Sharkey beats the current version of Tua?

Jerry Quarry would outclass David Tua.
