not sure how fw can do a good job if groves only had one fight with fw fw clearly didnt do enough or put enough effort into making groves choose too stayy with him

I agree, Groves' development has definitely been down to Adam Booth and the way he's handled him - more so than any promoter.

The gig Groves fought on Saturday is a noted puncher and Groves was excellent. I have said for a long time now that he is the best young technical fighter in the UK ad his performances are proving the point. Everyday from now on I fancy his chances against Froch.

Groves needs a meaningful fight soon to keep the momentum going, I think Stieglitz is fighting AA again for a third time as that's a huge fight in Germany and got stopped on an injury last time. groves can try and get the winner of that as I don't think froch is going to fight him any time soon but if he brings a belt to the table it would be a big domestic fight.

There is no secret that activity for a young, developing fighter is crucial. The more fights you have the more you improve, the greater number you have in a short space the quicker the improvement and less room for stagnation.

They've handpicked their fights very, very well though, so it remains to be seen how much is smoke and mirrors. An old Glencoffe who is really just a name on your record at this point, and guys like Sierra and Gonzalez who have flattering records.

Inactivity is a fighter's biggest weakness imo.

He was going stale under ******.

Noted by who? I'm genuinely curious, do you have some kind of inside track on the guy he fought - I can only imagine anything about him is notable to those in his own country because he's produced very little at a decent level.

I'm not sure what the TS is saying because he makes no sense whatsoever, but if he's saying something in regards to opponent selection and Groves' activity, then you can appoint that down to Booth. FW and Matchroom have only promoted him and put him in with whoever Booth has wanted, not FW or Matchroom.

    Agreed.

The credit Matchroom deserve is for giving George the bills to fight on.
