Far too early for Groves. Froch and Kessler are also too soon. He should try the waters with Stieglitz and then perhaps try his toughness against Bika, even though that could be a tall order.

He's still a bit "young" in his style. The body strength needed to compete with very strong fighters like Ward, Kessler and Froch isn't there yet. Froch knocked him down in sparring and I could really see that be because of Froch's greater strength and ability to absorb punches combined with Groves' sometimes ill-advised tendency to exchange punches. Combine that with his tendency to get a bit hurt and I think he could run into problems. His ways of countering with the jab, the straight right or the one-two is good but would be too basic for the top three fighters.

He should develop his bodywork, which looks like a future succesful weapon even in big fights. Tighten up his defense a bit, avoid the ropes, know when to box and when to power-punch, get stronger... Then he could be ready. I like Groves.
