Say what you want about Davis but with him having no amateur experience, having a record as good as his is a testment to his natural talent.
I thought the rule was something like any fight that was licensed you can't post. There was a thread a while ago where someone posted Lara destroying Hearns and that thread got swiftly deleted by admin. Sorry if I'm wrong.
Good win for Bika, Davis isn't top 10 but he's solid and Bika dominated him. Bika can beat guys like Davis, Manfredo, Soliman, etc its when he steps up and faces someone like Ward, Calzaghe, or Bute that he loses. I don't know where Bika goes next but I'd like to see him face Adonis Stevenson. Stevenson is having trouble getting opponnents for his IBF eliminator and Bika will fight anyone, its a great match up. Davis was rated in the top 10 of the IBF so give Bika Davis's ranking and let them fight.
Bika's the classic definition of contender, and that's a complement. He'll take care of business against everyone below the level of solid beltholder, but hasn't quite been able to take that last step of getting a title himself. Had his matchmaking shook out a little differently, he probably would've gotten a title by now. He's a tough SOB. Bute's also not nearly as bad as the Froch fight made him look, and being able to handle Bika easily is solid proof of that. Bad fighters don't beat Sakio.
Bika would ****ing KILL Stevenson!!! I'm serious, Stevenson's harbouring glass and Bika is not the one for anyone with that trait.
Bika would beat the **** out of Stieglitz and likely beat Abraham too IMO...... Other than Ward, froch, Kessler, Dirrell and Bute there is no one at 168 that ****s with Sakio.
I don't see Bika beating Abraham. The Super 6 has proven that Abraham can be outboxed by a crafty fighter, especially if the other guy has a reach advantage and some power to intimidate Abraham. A brawler like Bika who's always in range to get hit, would most likely end up like Miranda (II) or Gevor: sooner or later Abraham would land a devastating punch and sent him into the land of dreams. This said: this is an interesting fight so maybe Bika can get in line for a title shot in case Abraham manages to beat Stieglitz?
I agree, he's underrated simply because no one is willing to fight him, but sakio bika is a BEAST and always has been. abraham is too stationary and simply will not have the physical strength or punching power to deter eventually being overwhelmed. I'd go as far as to say that andre ward is about the only guy in the division that wont go life and death with bika, and even he had the toughest fight of his career with the guy. stieglitz gets stopped by bika, and adonis stevenson might meet his maker in bika as well. elite super middleweights and their handlers know what they're doing by not looking to sakio bika to give a title shot, or for a tuneup. this guy is the personification of extremely high risk/low reward.
Well Bute basically won 11 of 12 rounds vs Bika so I'd reckon he'd school him again in more emphatic fashion than Ward. Wards the better fighter but styles make fights. Abrahams low workrate coupled with Bika's IRON chin would= Bika all damn day!!!
Guys, Bika can be hurt, remember Coddrington? Stevenson and AA are 2 of the biggest punchers in boxing. Adonis might not get the chance to land one, but Abe will have opportunities against a guy like Bika.
