    What about Mundine?

I think he gives most of the guys big problems with his speed and evasion.....and hes huge in AUST.....95% of boxing fans hate him but will pay big $$$$ to see him get beaten.

I see Kess and AA beating him but the others are 50/50 fights.

Bad replacement. As good and dangerous as Bika is, he would be the weakest link and what makes this tournament exciting is that all fights are intriguing and evenly matched. You could put Miranda in as well who is perhaps even more dangerous but he would be 0-3 in this tournament. The best replacement would be Lucian Bute.

    What about Green?

The only guy he fought that was a step up was Miranda and he lost.

He hasn't fought anybody of note since and judging from his last fight I can see why.

Green and Bika should go at it for the spot. It would only be fair since they aren't fighting anyone yet and the Super Six has already begun.

The guy he's replacing is the weakest link in the tournament. Taylor was on the down slide before the tournament. He only got in because of his name.

If anything Bika is more worthy of the spot than Taylor is.

Bute is a little busy at the moment.

Mundine gets beaten handily by anyone in the comp, hes declining already and he wouldn't get involved. Prime for prime he gives Froch and Dirrell a good fight. Its clear he has no intention of fighting on the global scene at this point though.

Bika would be entertaining but he is probably a level below anyone in the comp. He also hasn't done **** in a long time, and isn't out there showing that he is hungry. Verbally complaining doesn't qualify. The only practical replacements are Andrade or Bute (Bute being more deserving than most of the guys in the tourny already). The Andrade-Bute fight fits the timeline perfectly, if the winner is too difficult to negotiate with, then go after the disgruntled loser looking to get back on top.

Bika is not on the same level as the others. Green and Miranda too.

Froch - Bika would be a great fight to watch.

"Pretty competitive" just isn't good enough for an elite tourney like this.

Bika is a really good fighter and would be a handful for anyone. In fact I would not be surprised if Bika beats Pavlik for exmaple.

    However, we know Bika's limits!

We know for a fact he will not be able to win the SS. All the other six prior to the start could be thought to wiin. Either because they have proven to be excellent (Abraham, Kessler, Taylor, Froch) or because they are realtively unproven and the sky could be the limit (Ward and Dirrell).

For Bika the sky is NOT the limit. We have seen the limit and it comes a little sooner than some of the proven elite fighters in the tourney. Therefore he should not be in there.

Miranda should also not - for the same reasons.

Green ... should not, but if we discount his loss to Miranda - then he has never lost and can make an argument similar to Ward and Dirrell. Therefore - since it cannot be Bute.... Green is probably the best option.

Mundine needs to beat a true top fighter who is not Australian home-cooking. Take on a Bika or an Andrade or even a Sartison for that matter. Just something better than the endless row of taxi drivers. You may find this unfair, but I am actually a Mundine fan (his boxing, not his person), and he needs to stop trying to talk his way into fights and get some real wins again.

I cannot believe how many people are underrating Bika. I think he is the best SMW not in the tournament outside of the Bute-Andrade winner. Bute is not gonna enter the tournament so I think Bika is as good a choice as any fighter. Do all you guys give Green or Miranda a better chance at winning this than Bika? He is as known as Green and Miranda because he has stepped up twice, has a minor belt, and won the Contender at this weight.

I don't see how you can say Taylor is excellent. When he has been awful at Supermiddleweight. He lost to Pavlik, his only win was a badly faded Jeff Lacy, and he lost to Froch. He is far from excellent.

Dirrell and Ward are in the tournament because their prospects.

Green is not a prospect, he's in his 30s and has a good record because he's fought nobodies. If he fought any of the super six before the tournament. He would have lost. In fact I think Bika can beat him. And sorry I can't rewrite history Miranda beat Green. The fight happened end of story.

Personnaly, I find Bika entertaining but I see him losing every fight in the tournament, not polish enough.
