Calzaghe had the worst hands in boxing. He frequently broke them in fights but still always found a way to win.

Ward beat Bika at his own game. Ward ain't even reach his full potential yet. Got beat by a guy ain't even in his prime yet

Ward beat Bika by fighting dirty, because thats what he does best. It's fair game, but there is a reason to why Bute and Calzaghe did just fine using boxing.

Bika fought Calzaghe in the last 2 years of Joe's career after the Welsh defended his title over 15 times and exactly before the fights against Kessler, Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr.

Bika fought Bute 5 years ago for Eliminator when Lucian was not even world champion and in his prime. Bika was in his prime and exactly after the fight against Calzaghe.

Bika contradicts himself saying Calzaghe is the best after a junior Bute handled him the easiest! :think Only the time can tell us.

But if you ask me, Ward and Bute are better than Calzaghe was. And whoever wins from these two will be supreme!

calzaghe was overrated in both fields. only adjustment he ha dto make in his career was throwing more punches, and the only adversity was a gift decision against a 43 year old. that's real adversity:-(

IMO, Ward beat Bika clearly even if it was competitive until the end.

As much as I get on Calzaghe, Bika is probably his most underrated win. Too bad he didn't finish his career beating a young gun but the guy was talented I'll give him that.

Sidenote, I love watching Bute & Ward now and much prefer SMW era of now. FTM, Ward is 1A and Bute is 1B they need to square off and people forget they've fought two common opponents and Bute did better(Bika, Miranda) and it wouldn't surprise me if he continues that run against Froch either.

These remarks by Bika must make your heart swell with pride. But before we get carried away, lets see how Bute fares against Froch.

If Bute dominates Froch, as Ward did, that would actually mean something.

This isn't something to brag about. Bika's game is bordeline legal. He uses head a lot, elbows, sucker punching, clinching etc. Exactly what Ward did. The fight was almost a draw. Those scores were bogus. Ward face was looking quite bad after the fight.

Joe retired way too soon. The guy knew he was about to get exposed and instead of fighting the best fighters, he retired after fighting a washed up RJJ.
