    Wow!
a 1 hour and 30 minute fight! the longest no hold bars fight in recorded human history.
Its not exactly for the impatient of you as there are spells of boredom in the fight (Notably the 3rd)
If you don't like long drawn out tactical action the don't watch but this is required viewing for any self proclaimed real MMA fan.

The Gracies are quite the pompous and self-righteous bunch and Sakuraba is probably the nicest guys in MMA, to see the popmous Gracies plan backfire on them was most ironic!
Starting in 1999, Sakuraba defeated Royler Gracie, through a controversial kimura, although locked in, Royler refused to tap forcing the ref to step in and stop Royler from going through more punishment, it was of copurse the first time a Gracie had legitimitley lost in a professional MMA match.

Outraged the Gracie family vowed revenge and brought out of retirement there main star, the famous Royce Gracie to come and defeat Sakuraba.
The Gracie family insisted that there be no time limt and less rules than a normal match.(no referee intrusion being the main one)
Of course when the no time limit contest actually started to suit Sak over Royce the Gracies were forced to throw in the towel and cemented sak as the best p4p fighter in the world.
Sakuraba would then go on to defeat two more Gracies, Ryan and Renzo and gain the title 'Gracie Hunter'

Recently Royce beat Sakuraba in 2007 but many fans have dismissed this due to Royce posting positive for steroids, yet the win was not overturned by the CSAC and it remains a victory for Royce.
