https://youtu.be/qhvkfoqg3y4 Orlando "Siri" Salido: "To be great you have to fight the best and he doesn't want to. He wants to take advantage of what he has and keep on growing financially". Words of a true Mexican warrior! :deal
He just doesn't want to fight GGG I think. Honestly, when you are at the top like Canelo and making money, you are more careful with who you fight, not saying I like that. Siri is a very good fighter but he has many losses and isn't in a position to demand as much so he has to fight the big dogs every time to make money.
Dudes are jealous because they have NEVER been "A-Side" of a fight and NEVER had the leverage that Alvarez has. These guys are sounding bitter as **** right about now.
Marquez, Chavez, Chavez Jr and Morales have said the same thing that Salido said about Canelo. Tell me how those MEXICANS haven't being on the "A side"?
Chavez Sr. Knows he fugged his career off a bit during the middle part of his career messing around doing gangsta sh*t (coke , *****ez, boozing ect..) and could have taken his career more seriously (training). Alvarez on the other hand lives clean & takes care of his body unlike the athletes of the past. JMM is PIST because let's face it NOBODY around today can fugg with Juan's passion or live up to his standards and at the end of the day if you listen to what Juan says he belives that Canelo has what it takes to beat GEE... but Marquez understands the biz aswell. (Oskie D.) Morales, I haven't heard what dude has to say about this... let me investigate.
Doesn't Salido realize Canelo is really ducking Ward though? Why doesn't Canelo pick up the phone and call Ward instead of fighting the Liam Smiths of the world? I'm just trying to be fair in my rhetoric here.... I wish my Mom would heat up a hot pocket and bring it down here for me.
Damn people have short memories around here. Lara, Trout, Cotto, and especially Mayweather were as good or great as it was gonna get at the time, but I think we all know Ggg is the real monster NOW. I think Canelo just took advantage of the opportunity against Cotto, cashed in, but quickly and probably wisely stepped back down to 154. So Canelo has fought the best in past years, just not recently.
