Has boxing come down to low blowing someone through the entire fight and being an entire weight class over to get the win? Never, ever will any boxing fan consider Salido having a real win. He cheated to beat a guy with 1 pro fight on his record.
Dirty, yes, but the result counts just the same. And this is from one of the biggest Lomachenko fans on here. There will be times where the deck is stacked like that, and it's up to the fighter to adjust to the environment he's in- in this case, a terrible ref. He'll learn to rise above it, and Salido using every trick in the book shouldn't be looked at as a negative. It's an opportunity going forward. If Lomachenko was unprepared for that going in to tonight, he won't be in the future.
take 2 points from salido for the low blows 1 point from loma for the excessive holding and salido still wins.
so how the hell can you argue that loma could have won the fight with the point deductions i mentioned? salido clearly won the fight, loma looked amateurish :rofl.
