You sound extremely bitter, Scar. There are 5 featherweights I would pick over him with confidence and a couple more at 122 I'd have faith in moving up and beating him as well... I don't think there are 50 "elite" fighters in the world. So I don't rate most world class professionals as "elite." So it all depends on your definition of "elite." And even if I did consider the top 50 to be elite, Loma certainly is nowhere close to being close to being close to making that list. If I think the 250 best pros on the planet are elite, then maybe I would consider ranking the novice on virtue of a close defeat to Salido but even then I would likely be wronging a more deserving fighter.
Without factoring in any non-essential opinions, fact is Salido won a SD. Who knows what would have happened if your version of ideal reffing had taken place the whole fight.
That's a little over dramatic...."tainted"? Really? I haven't seen an outcry of this fight being a robbery.....it has been accepted as hard fought loss by a highly touted prospect that was poorly matched in only his 2nd pro fight.
Didn't salido almost drop Loma in the mid rounds? Wasn't Loma clinching damn near the whole fight.I like how you left those bits out.
Cheating is part of the sport. Deal with it. Many athletes in different sports have done this - Michael Jordan, BHopkins, so u just gotta find a way to adjust
You are correct. Chavez Jr. EVENT WIN Sergio Vitali EVENT WIN Lewis Marquez EVENT WIN Mayweather Lomachenko EVENT WIN Salido
