True, but so far Lomachenko has had quite a few "meh" fights on his resume. As long as he is active, i am fine with him taking a fight against the likes of Sosa. I don´t want to see him fight once a year.

Salido won a highly debatable decision--I had the fight a draw--in which he deliberately missed weight, constantly fouled, and STILL had to hang on for dear life against a kid in his SECOND pro fight.

The only reason why people like you are glad about the rematch falling g through is because you know Lomo will batter Salido from start to finish next time around.

 

Salido gets his ass kicked in a rematch. He knows it, and his team knows it.

 

Maybe he does, but the record books will always have Salido with a W over Loma. Hopefully Loma pays Salido whatever Salido wants.

So what? Those who actually watched the fight understand the kid didn't get the nod, in a debtable decision against a wily vet, in his SECOND pro fight.

Lots of great fighters have lost. Ten years from now Lomo will be heading into the HOF, while Salido--if recalled at all-- will be remembered as a tough trial horse and little more.

 

I think its safe to say Salido will definitely be in the HoF, as will Loma. Salido will never be an ATG, Loma has a chance to become an ATG.
