The reason is that he is a feared fighter. He's knocking busters out and Salido fits that bill. Lomachenko is a better boxer but that right hook of Mr G would send his ass to sleep. Calling the man a prospect don't make him that and you know it.:bbb

I still remember people using that fight against the Ghost even after it turned out Salido was juiced up.

Then again, I've also seen clowns holding Guillermo Jones-Lebedev against Lebedev even after it turned out Jones could only make weight with illegal diuretics.

    Only in boxing....

Funny, Salido was the guy looking to survive in the 12th, Salido was the one with the discouraged look throughout, Salido was the one who praised Lomachenko vigorously in the post fight interview.
Lomachenko needed to throw more punches earlier, but Lomachenko still landed more punches and at a higher percentage. Salido taught Lomachenko about low blows and winning rounds with ineffective aggression. No reasonable person would pick Salido over Lomachenko if they fought again tomorrow.
Lomachenko will review the fight and realise that activity (whether effective or not) counts for a lot in pro boxing, and make the necessary adjustments to ensure he doesn't leave doubt for anyone in the future.
I hope Arum can make Loma-GRJ, that will be a very entertaining fight and a good showcase for Lomachenko.

But loma needs new trainer , if he had an american trainer in his corner that could scream at referee , maybe low blows wouldn't been ignored like that.

I'd say so, he wasn't as dominant at the 2012 Olympics for a number of reasons. He was thinking/preparing for the pros, he was fighting in a weight class against naturally bigger opponents and he was nowhere near as motivated as he was in 2008. In the WSB he was specifically working on certain things for the pro game so he was inconsistent.
I don't think Lomachenko did anything wrong against Salido or made any serious flaws, it was more of a case of what he didn't do. I have faith in him and his father to make the necessary adjustments to pacing, they have a track record of it in the amateurs. Lomachenko needed to be aware of all the dirty tricks in pro boxing, but I don't think he'll come across a guy like Salido too often. If he's fighting GRJ, Rigo, Garcia etc. it's not going to come down to dirty tricks because those guys are boxers. I think Lomachenko was unlucky more than anything against Salido, because none of those low blows were counted as low blows and a lot of them made Lomachenko push his hips back then it appeared to many that Salido was landing legit body punches, hurting Loma and getting credit for them.
Lomachenko needed to be more aggressive earlier and I think Anotoly was telling him to pick it up from as early as the 4th round. I'm not prepared to say that his father isn't the right trainer for him when they've had so much success together, changing trainers is very destabilising and the situation isn't serious enough to call for a change at this stage imo. If he fights GRJ and struggles at all then calls for a change of coach would be fair perhaps..

Those who claim that low blows to the legs, balls, hips, etc. are OK should also push to reverse Bowe/Golota decision.................

When Salido said "we", I guess he meant he and his personal referee Laurence Cole, who is a well known idiot who is incompetent as Hell.............

When Salido said "we", he meant the Judges, Referee, his team, his fans.
    Basically the PROFESSIONAL Boxing community.

It was all to work against Lomanchenko.

All these tricks were against Lomachenko, because he jumped too soon to a world title.

The 1.) ref's biasness, 2.) Salido's dirty tactics, and 3.) the judges controversial scores were all conspiracies against Lomanchenko to teach him a lesson and make an example of him to other hot-shot Olympic Gold medalists that think that they can come to professional boxing and make a mockery of Pro boxing by getting a shot at a world title, just after their pro debut, without having to climb up the latter (the rankings).

These professional boxing members (Salido, Judges, Referee) were all basically telling Lomanchenko that:
"You think you're a Hot Shot in your world- the Amateurs, for being an Olympic Gold Medalist, etc. and now getting a World Title shot in your 2nd pro fight..,...
Well now you're coming into our world (professional boxing) and you shouldn't bend the rules and fight for a world title after winning your pro debut against a nobody,,,,,,so were gonna mess with you and you cant do much about it cause you have very little leverage as a 1 pro fight Boxer "

    "Lesson learned, kiddo!"

Look at DelaHoya, Meldrick Taylor, Pernell Whitaker, Sugar ray Leonard, etc., they didnt fight for a world title, right after their pro debut.
They gradually climbed up the rankins-first 6 rounders, then 8 rounders, then 10 rounder, then title elimnator, then a world title shot. No cutting in line of the contenders, the way Lomanchenko did.
