I thought this was a close fight, but to me the edge was easy to see in lomachenko favor. I think the lesson here is don't trust a company (top rank), who's living for the past 30 years, has been off of Mexicans fighter. He should of went to Germany first to train an start his boxing career. He should never go into a fight from here on out, trusting a thing said out of the mouth of that company.

Honestly that fight even with the weight difference should not of been that close, lamachenko should of boxed, he should not been walked down by this guy. I think he was hoping his power would of stopped him, I think he should of stuck to stick an move.

Fighting for the belt in his second fight of his career, were does he do it, who is he on the undercard of. San Antonio, maybe 100 people could of spoke English in that arena, an less then half of that arena were legal.. Yea top rank just took out the next threat to there Mexican money for the next 5 to ten years, or slowed it down.

For his title fight, he should of tried to headline in Chicago or Newyork were there are a lot of eastern Europeans. Top rank could of got a better ref, there the one with the clout not salido.

Putin is doing to Ukrain what top rank did to lomachenko, it is called "looking out for there own financial interest"

no. it's about integrity. will u at least admit that salido benefitted from cole's non calls?

for the record, i scored the fight a draw. let's pretend that salido was soooo slick that every single foul he committed was not in the sight of cole. the fight was still very close and could have gone either way. a guy who doesn't belong in the ring wouldn't have finished as strong.

i don't know that u can blame toprank in this. cole spoke perfect english...he was the one that let salido get away with his low blows.

and for the record....lomachenko doesn't always ball his fist when he throws punches and he doesn't always sit on his punches either. if he did...he may have hurt salido much earlier. he did nothing to take any steam out of salido. he threw nothing but head shots. he should have gone to the body earlier in the fight. lomachenko can benefit from having a more experienced pro trainer in his corner. there were adjustments he could have made much earlier to make that fight easier to win.

Wow some of you acting like you were born yesterday or straight hating. Brawler/puncher type for decades always coming in 10,20+plus heavier on fight night and sacrifice speed for power. You can't say Salidos fatter ass was getting outboxed by the super slick Loma when Salido was making him miss many times and bobbed and weaved his way inside on Loma. Salido was crafty enough to work on Lomas body because he knew he'd lose if he attacked the head against the much faster Loma. Loma on fight night could of done 147 too, but his style wouldn't benefit from it while a pressure fighter like Salido would. Salido only started hitting down south when Loma wouldn't stop with the excessive clinching because he couldn't deal with Salidos body shots. Loma was a great in the ams, but isn't experienced enough with pro pressure fighters like Salido.

    Exactly.

The Pro Officials/Members (Salido, referee, judges, commission, etc.) basically told Lomanchenko, "Now that you come from the Amateur ranks, you're coming into our world (Professional boxing).

"this is what you get for cutting in line of the pro contenders, and getting a shot at a world title just after your pro debut". "Next time, wait in line, like the others."
