SHOUTOUT TO MY COUNTRYMAN WENG HAYA THOUGH, PUT ON A GREAT PERFORMANCE BUT IT JUST WASN'T ENOUGH, dropping Salido twice and all, with Salido looking real hurt after the 2nd knockdown

The second knockdown he was. He took the 8 count on his butt, got up, and held on for dear life for like about 25 seconds before recovering and beating up Haya the rest of Round 4.

Both from left hooks (although second one was followed by a right straight). Somewhere, JuanMa is licking his chops right now.

The first ko was a lucky shot right to the chin, for a second I thought Salido was not going to beat.

Salido was battering him in round 3 before a perfect counter left hook by Haya in the last 15 seconds dropped Salido as he was going for the kill. He beat the count and the bell sounded just a few seconds later.

It was! I hope Haya doesn't fade into oblivion, but instead gain momentum to restart his once-promising career after a solid outing against a champion. JuanMa's left hook will be a key punch in the rematch if he uses it correctly against Salido.

Salido was in real trouble for a while there. Even after having a minute to recover in between rounds after the first knockdown, he still came out for the fourth round on shaky legs and was dropped by a glancing blow.
