salido is in the driver seat. all the guns around his weight and HBO seem interested in getting in with him
It would be a good fight. It gives LoMo the chance to revenge his loss. The problem is, LoMo is scared of Salido and don't want to avenge his loss. They will do and say anything not to make the fight. If they wanted the fight all they had to do is break Salido off $250-$300K and start the negotiations from there.
Lomachenko if far superior to Salido, Salido is the one who refuses to fight Lomachenko, he beat Salido once, even with Lawrence Cole helping Salido, had Salido out in the last round, Salido, low blows, got knocked down, but Cole called it a slip, hit after the bell, hit behind the head, etc., Lomachenko still won that fight, in the rematch Lomachenko would knock Salido out cold..................Salido needs Lawrence Cole to protect him again, but that won't happen. Lomachenko is far more skilled than Salido............
It's massively unfair that talentless backs at hw make a cool mil as a minimal bid, whereass true once in a lifetime talent has to offer his opponents measly 200K. Salido deserves more but as a fan, I am pretty annoyed that the rematch being delayed. Salido isn't getting any younger.
I also believe Salido will lose the rematch, I say Loma outclasses him in a clean fight this time around. Those lowblows wont fly in the rematch, Hopefully this ref will be on the look out this time around .
Lawrence Cole is the worst referee in boxing history, should never be allowed to ref a fight...................he appears to have an agenda, or is blind..............
I'll go even further and say that Loma not only outclasses him, but brutalizes him en route to a brutal KO. That one's personal, and he definitely wants to make a statement and vindicate himself to those who hold that "loss" against him.
Salido won the first fight so he should get a bigger cut or even money. I want to see Loma get redemption for his loss. I think he beats Salido quite easily and I think Salido himself knows it as well.
