Using your logic: Loma was willing to give his purse to Walters, but not Salido?

Whatever. Salido didn't even make weight and was holding on for dear life to make it to the final bell.

That sets an alarming precedent because every fighter would demand the lion's share of the money against Lomachenko. These tactics are going to blow up in Salido's face, fighters like him do not strong arm promoters with unreasonable demands.

Yeah I guess the whole "a-side" BS only works for fighters you clowns like, when it's someone you aren't a fan of it goes out the window. Salido's been offered a fair purse and is demanding more despite being the opponent... What this really boils down to is this loss being used a tool by the detractors to discredit Lomachenko... Which is why you're pitting this fiasco all down to Lomachenko - because he's not bending over backwards for Salido.

    No kidding huh?

Comes in way overweight and has a crooked ref allow him to low blow 65 times then saves him from getting stopped in the 12th.

"Nothing to see here, move on. pay the man"- IDIOTS of the highest order.

FIrst off, there's no clear A side/B side here so let's not weigh this down with that argument. This is not as complicated as you're trying to make it. If Loma is really interested in avenging that loss, then simply pay Salido. Otherwise, he should stop dangling that rematch carrot in hopes of getting that fight at a bargain basement price.

Salido already has 13 losses, he isn't afraid of one more. The man wants to get paid what he's worth. Lomo isn't worth much yet, but that's why the promoters get paid, it's their job to make these fights that people want to see, not mine. It's worth paying to avenge the loss and getting out the way. More likely there's doubt in the lomo camp. He can't just beat Salido but must dominate him with that new HBO P4P #1 moniker he now has. Same thing with ggg avoiding certain fights that wouldn't make him look dominate like Lara and Jacobs, or any fight at 168.

Not only did he win the fight BUT HE'S THE MEXICAN! How many Ukranians are going to spend $59 on the fight?

Were you complaining about Mayweather getting kicked and taken down by Maidana?

    Didn't think so.

Salido knows they are desperate and looking for a big cash out

he can fight vargas again or miura and get featured on HBO in another war possibly making good money

I think he's just teasing them unless they toss an offer no one else can get him

One of the most ridiculous posts I have read on here in some time. Yet it's sheer multi leveled layers of delusion kept me firmly affixed. inculcating Golovkin at the end was the icing on the cake for me.

Excellent post! Salido has fought everybody and is at the tail end of his career. The certainty of Lomachenko having the ability to avenge himself is very high. Everybody including Salido knows this. Salido is the only one who holds a W over Hi Tech and possibly is the only one who ever will. Salido (and everybody else) knows this as well. I don't blame him for wanting to sell this unique redemption for the most he can get.
