Its gonna be a great night of boxing, compa! We got Salido-Garcia as the main event, with Gennady Golovkin-Gabriel Rosado and Roman Martinez-Juan Carlos Burgos on the card. :good What a night thats gonna be! :happy
Man im holding out on my predictions for these ones. Theres def some upset potential in any of these match ups. Gotta watch some tape and give a final breakdown soon.
Triple header, thats gonna be the opening bout of the night. :deal Personally, im really pumped up for all 3 fights equally. :happy:happy:happy
Garcia is very well schooled, and very smart, I can see him out pointing, and out boxing the older salido
Garcia's never been in with someone nearly as good as Salido is. He's tough, keeps clam, fundamentally sound, but I think he has some defensive flaws on the inside that Salido will exploit once he gets there with his veteran tricks. Mikey's last fight, while not an altogether bad performance, reassured me Salido would have success this way.
If Garcia can't hurt Salido, which isn't easy to do then Salido will maul him. Really looking forward to this, both guys are good to watch.:happy
I think Garcia is a bit too patient. If salido hasn't slipped too much he should outwork the young lion.
I like Salido, but I see Garcia winning this inside 10 rounds. Garcia's punching power is obvious, even Rios commented on it in the gym, and he's far more accurate than Juanma - who gave Siri a world of trouble.
Juanma has more proven skill on the inside and experience in that kind of war Mikey never has. He even showed marked defensive improvements in the rematch. I don't think he could hang in a war of attrition as long as Lopez did.
Very underrated fight. Garcia at times needs his target to be stationary so this is a good test for him because Salido is anything but stationary. Salido is a very underrated fighter. Boxer and brawler. Garcia has his work cut out, but Garcia has been showing patience and the ability to finish guys when he hurts them.
