Salido. He had the more effective offense. Loma came on strong in the last two rounds as Salido tired due to age, but Loma dropped too many of the earlier and mid rounds to deserve the decision. But, I also think it was the best thing to happen to Loma, since he learned a lot from that loss.

    Loma won that fight

Salido only threw body shots, was unable to hit the head. However, Loma was throwing good headshots which were more accurate and powerful. There's a reason why Salido was about to get KO'd at the end of the fight and Loma looked like he could go another 12.

Same scenario as the judges who were about to rob Loma to give Linares the fight. A pro hispanic bias by the judges against Eastern Euro fighters (like Golovkin/Canelo)

I think Salido CLEARLY won a close fight and im a HUGE Loma fan. I don't like how he won and the constant fouling and blowing off the weight limit, but in the end Salido won that night regardless of the angle I view it from. As another poster said, I too believe it made Loma a better fighter so it worked out for both fighters. It was his second ****ing professional fight lol, if you cant get a pass for losing a profession title fight in your 2nd pro fight, then those people are just haters. That's pretty much it folks.

A lot of low blows and illegal tactics that were not penalised. Loma also had Salado near the end but the ref stepped in to protect Orlando. Regardless, scoring the fight round by round on the 10 point must system Salado probably eked out a razor slim win. I didn't score the fight as I was disgusted by the ref.

How many legal shots did Salido actually score?

It's a debatable decision on its own even without factoring in the incompetent ref and Salido not even trying to make weight.

I pretty much consider it a NC..happy for Salidos fans to claim it but don't really consider it a blotch on Lomas record.

The ref was incompetent and Salido engaged in dirty tactics, but Loma was inexperienced and gave up the early rounds. Even though Loma was having his own way at the end of the fight, scoring on the ten point must system, it's a razor close decision win for Salido. Loma fans who scored it for him are salty and think that their hero can't lose.

Agreed! These jokers saying Saloido won are the same fools that say Castillo and Madiana beat Mayweather. Laughable!

8-4 Loma. Nearly KO'd that cheat.

    Was outweighed by 20lbs.

    Absorbed like 25 low blows.

    2nd pro fight.

All things considered it was one of Loma's most impressive and dominant wins.

7-5 or 8-4 Lomachenko, at best it was a draw, and I was rooting for Salido initially.
