    holy **** did anyone catch this? fight of the year so far. Both guys showed amazing hearts and chins, round 9 had me gobsmacked. Puerto rico vs mexico always brings the heat :fire

    Mikey garcia was great. Patient, yet deadly when he turns up the heat.

    Didnt see that gonzalez kid kegs. I watched the toprank free stream under card but i didnt see him.

    Mikey was oustanding as always will give anyone at 126 fits.

    Yeah "Bomba" Gonzalez was unfortunately the swing bout & if 1 of the 2 Showtime Extreme bouts finished early he would have been on.
    I beleive his fight may have happened after the main event off TV in front of no-one.:lol:

    Lots of buzz saying Mikey is going to face WBA Titlist Celestino Caballero 1st, with the winner then to face Salido in late 2012 title unification WBA/WBO.

    Two great fights. I remember watching "Grandpa" fight years ago and Mikey has the potential to go a whole lot further.

    "Grandpa" Garcia sure was a decent titlist, but i agree Mikey could go very far...parts remind me of a young Juan Manuel Marquez.
