This is the easiest fight in the world to break down. Salido must knock out Lopez. If Lopez makes it 12, then he wins a decision; regardless of what happens during those rounds.
It's a good thing Salido has the style that can knock Lopez out. Salido's defence/high guard is a good style to beat Lopez. Salido also did a good job of rolling off of Juan's punches and returned fire with his own. I don't make many predictions around here, but unless Lopez leared to use his length and footwork, Salido will not need a decision.
Yep, I agree. It sucks that boxing is known more for its corruption and/or incompetent judges than it's great fights. Hopefully Salido had a great camp and doesn't leave it in the hands of the judges.
There is crime in PR between ricans and other ricans. Its like black on black crime in the US. We all don't always like our own kind. Regardless of who the ref is, it don't matter. Wasn't the last ref in the first fight boricua too? Not sure but I'm at least assuming he was.
Of course it matters. Just look at that idiot ref who robbed Librado Andrade of a KO win against Bute. Yes, the ref in the first Salido vs Lopez fight was Boricua, but look at all the hate he received for doing the This content is protected thing. I bet he won't get a big fight in the very near future because of what he did.
completely different when it comes to boxing, especially when the other guy isnt from your country. ever heard of the PR vs Mexico rivalry?
the ref is gonna be the most important man in the ring other than the fighters sincerely- george foreman
