Wasn't too bad; but it was just a sloppy affair that didn't really ignite..

Did you say the same about Hatton at 22, that he should step it up?

I'll say it again, he is only 22, he will fight the tough tough fights as time passes. This was a mandatory and he did well. Just give the guy some credit I say.

"Destroyed" is a bit too strong a word for Mitchell's persistent holding and running.

Wellsini, you have a Calzaghe picture. Does that mean you're a calzaghe fan? Just curious.

Just because he was unbeaten means nothing, Muhammad Ali once fought a guy who had 44 knockouts in a row. The greatest destroyed him in a couple of rounds.

    Records mean nothing

Not having a go, as I think JC was a top boxer. I was at the Kessler fight in Cardiff. But shouldn't he have 'stepped it up', say 10years ago?

You said you made a mistake posting which is quality. In general I don't understand the british public. Khans not the greatest boxer in the world, but when you compare him at the mo to other british greats at 22, he is miles ahead.

He gets too much stick, no wonder he wants to fight in states asap. So would I if I was him.

An unbeaten #1 Contender like Salita is EXACTLY the type of fighter a YOUNG Khan should be facing for a) his first defence and b) only his second fight at LWW.

He was his mandatory, if he looked terrible then it's because of Amir Khan.

Khan was impressive, no doubts there, but Salita was ranked 60 in the world and had only a handful of fights in the past few years. As a champion, Khan will have mandatories some of which will be a test, some won't. Last night wasn't a test, Salita's KO ratio is poor for an undefeated contender. Bookies here in UK had Khan 1/8 for the win!

Khan is starting to win me over, he is a much improved boxer under Roach but until we see him share the same ring as a genuine top 10 light welter i'm not believing all the hype.

Shame the Barrera fight had that clash of heads in the first, that would have supplied the test we all want to see. That ought to have been a NC but that's another thread....
