We are the same age, 64, he is approximately 1 month or two weeks older. Salvador Sanchez was a World Featherweight Champion with more recognition, better opposition with pure dedication and brought class to his profession, he fought in very popular venues like Las Vegas and Madison Square Garden, defending his WBC title that he held from Feb 2 1980 until his untimely demise at the age of 23 on August 12 1982. Sanchez took every bout serious and was well conditioned, a very disciplined champion.
