Everyone has a Chava moment as soon as they find out about his tradegy and his career. I remember the first time I read his bio, his life would make a great movie.

talk about not seeing a career come to fruition... is Gary Coleman still in the hospital? Best wishes for a speedy recovery Big guy! The Sanchez/Nelson fight was a real barn burner. Azumah had the heart of a lion and brought out the star-hero qualities in Sanchez. Even a casual boxing fan could sense the major drama in that one. Epic stuff. GC and SS, two superstars in my book, but that's just me. Different Strokes for Different Folks

One of my favorites. He had blossomed already and had a serious resume, but he would have done much more. I think he's an ATG even though it was a short career.

We could only speculate how much more he would have accomplished. But what makes it incredible to me, is how much he did do in such a short career and at such a young age. He fought with such poise and intelligence that is hard to think of him as a 23 year old.

Imo, his resume is comparable, if not better, than some of the so called modern greats. Like Galzaghe for example.

One of my favorite fighters ever.GREAT is what he was.Absolutely the coolest cucumber I've ever seen under intense pressure. He's the best featherweight I've seen in my lifetime. The thrashing of Gomez is one of my favorite boxing moments ever.RIP,Chava.
